Preparing for Your Pet’s Stay – Packing List & Safety Guidelines

Food and Feeding Supplies

Please bring your pet’s food in the original packaging or a labeled storage container. Do not use grocery bags or unmarked bags to transport food. Include enough food for the entire stay, plus a little extra in case of delay.

We provide clean food and water bowls, but you’re welcome to bring your own if your pet uses something specific (like a slow feeder).

Bedding and Comfort Items

In single kennels, bedding must be sized to fit the cot we provide. Please do not bring large blankets, comforters, or oversized beds.

Medium, family, and luxury suites can accommodate larger or multiple bedding items. You may bring your dog’s regular bed as long as it’s clean and clearly labeled.

No glass objects or soft plush toys are allowed in kennels for safety reasons.

Collars, Leashes, and Carriers

All dogs must be brought on a leash with a collar that is snug enough to prevent escape. Loose collars increase the risk of your dog slipping out in a new environment.

Cats must arrive in a crate. No loose cats will be accepted at check-in.

Medication and Special Needs

If your pet is on medication, bring a treat or food item to help administer it, such as

  • Cheese.
  • Pill pockets.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Hamburger or hot dog slices.

If your dog wears a bark collar at home, please bring it along in case it’s needed during their stay. Pets on anxiety medication should continue their treatment—bring enough medication for their full stay.

Booking for Holidays and Deposits

During holidays or peak times, we may require a deposit of $100–$200 depending on the reservation total. We will let you know the exact amount at the time of booking.

To ensure your pet’s spot is reserved, we highly recommend booking well in advance—especially during peak times such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Fourth of July, and Labor Day, as well as spring break, summer vacation, and fall break.
